About Me

Squeri_Maria web crop

I am a graphic designer with over six years of professional experience. My main specialties are print, presentation, and information design, as well as branding and identity systems. I have wide breadth of experiences in the industry, including work at internal marketing departments in both the private and nonprofit sectors, a tradeshow exhibition company, as well as creating branding solutions for various Chicago art exhibitions. I have worked on both the design and production sides of graphic design which have given me a unique insight into the entire process, and the coordination that goes into it. In addition to my experience, I strive to keep my aesthetic style fluid in order to mold it to each specific project to allow the content to shine.

I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC).

In addition to my professional work, I am a member of an all-girl design collective, the CMYKittens, who create interactive art installations that have been shown in a number of Chicago exhibitions including, Art on Track, Built Festival, Typeforce, and Activate. In my free time I enjoy going out to brunch on Sundays, power naps, and exploring the city on my bike.
